Q&A

What is the origin of Radiant Lotus Qigong?

“Radiant Lotus” is actually Daisy’s Toisanese name “Yim Lin”. Named after her Great Aunt Lin Oi (“Lotus Love”), a kung fu teacher and compassionate healer in southern China, Daisy began to fully appreciate the name her parents had given her at birth when she deepened her Qigong practice. Daisy saw the pristine lotus blossom rising up through stagnant, murky waters as a symbol of every woman’s ability to overcome challenges of even the greatest magnitude by embracing the light that is within them. The death of her first husband and both her parents inspired her to return to her native culture to learn safe, non-invasive practices that boost natural immunity as well as prevent and treat ill health. She found her answers in the 5,000-year old self-healing art of Qigong.

The foundation of Radiant Lotus Qigong is a philosophy of compassionate action, positive self-reflection and leading by example with gentle strength.

What is Radiant Lotus Qigong and how is it different from other forms of Qigong?

Radiant Lotus Qigong was created by Daisy after years of study with different Qigong masters who addressed women’s health concerns with their own unique branch of Qigong. She took what she felt was the most effective parts of each system and united them under one roof. She combines Chinese,Tibetan and western energy concepts to address menstrual and hormonal imbalances, breast and uterine tumors/cysts, emotional ups and downs, menopausal symptoms and more.

The Radiant Lotus Qigong for Women (Basic Program) is now on DVD and contains a Shaking & Cupping routine that wakes up the body’s immunity and discharges stagnant qi. It also includes a simple but comprehensive Self-Massage routine that focuses on breast and uterine health, Vibrational Sound Healing from Tibet that breaks up blocked energy from the inside out, and finishes with the Kwan Yin Closing Movement to bring women back to their loving, compassionate nature.

Other techniques taught in her program but not on DVD include a pressure point sequence to enhance whole-body health, a beautiful, graceful form that opens up the body’s energy flow, a balancing movement for overall mental/physica/emotional balance, and a lotus meditation to quiet the mind and balance the emotions. The techniques can be used together or on their own to address specific health issues unique to women, and form a complete program of empowered self-care for women.

Does Daisy offer private Qigong health consultations?

Yes. Daisy’s private Qigong health consultations are a transformative tool for her clients. Students and clients often say she tunes in to a frequency that is outside the realm of modern medicine.
