I just returned from a fabulous European teaching tour to Poland, Germany, Holland and Sweden…how do I begin to describe the incredible warmth and hospitality of my friends and hosts overseas, or the many healing stories shared amongst my students. There is a richness of culture and depth of history that can only be fully appreciated by talking story with the people, for it is through their stories that each country came to life for me. More on this later, but for now, thank you so much – Ania, Tjie Lie, Gie, Afsaneh, Ruud, Maria and Ulla-Britt, for hosting me in your countries, and for the many new friends and students I met along the way! And congratulations, Dave and Lucha on your marriage – I’m sorry I couldn’t come to Croatia for this most special of days, but it was great to meet in Budapest and have some downtime together before I started my teaching!
I will return with highlights at a later date, but for now I’m back in the US – California to be exact – and what a great time of year to be here with nature’s gift of pine and eucalyptus permeating the air, and friends to welcome me back! I am reminded of how much I have to be grateful for and what a gift it is to have friends on every shore.
Francesco and I met up at the NQA for another awesome qigong conference – this year at Asilomar in Monterey. It was the perfect setting for Qigong play and to reunite with other Qigong enthusiasts. We have been bouncing across California teaching, first at the favors.org event hosted by our dear friends Jean Harris, Arturo Maimoni and master jeweller, Sergio Lub. It was a packed house in Walnut Creek, and a nice surprise when author, Marianne Williamson, came to our event. A delightful, engaging presence, as well as many others ready to embrace the healing message of Qigong.
For now, let me update you on my teaching schedule for the next two months:

Thank you for your love and support these past several months while I’ve been on the road. Whether you sent emails or qi-mail, I felt our connection and was reminded of your friendship and caring. I look forward to seeing you soon, whether at one of the upcoming qi events, or whenever we next have the opportunity to meet. In the meantime, I wish you a safe, serene and joy-filled summer…. Daisy
