Creation of Radiant Lotus Qigong
Everyone has an opportunity to attain radiant health. With these techniques that international Qigong teacher and wellness coach Daisy Lee learned from over a dozen years of study with several master teachers from both east and west, Daisy has been able to design empowering self-healing programs for every age group and capability.
Radiant Lotus Qigong is derived from Daisy's Chinese name in Toisanese-Chinese "Yim Lin" (or "Yan Lian" in Mandarin) which means "Radiant Lotus" in English. Named after her Great Aunt Lin Ai ("Lotus Love"), a kung fu teacher and compassionate healer in southern China, Daisy began to fully appreciate the name her parents gave her at birth when she deepened her Qigong practice. She saw the lotus blossom rising up through stagnant, murky waters as a symbol of every individual's ability to overcome darkness and to enter into light through conscious, persistent effort to grow and overcome the inevitable challenges of life.
Radiant Lotus Qigong was created as a pathway to reach one's potential power by first attaining vibrant health, and then utilizing one's qi or life force energy to affect positive change in one's family, relationships and community. The foundation of Radiant Lotus Qigong is a philosophy of compassionate action, positive self-reflection and leading by example with gentle strength.

Radiant Lotus Qigong for Women

The exercises help to balance female hormones and release blocked energy, especially in the breasts and uterus areas, while at the same time increasing flexibility, strength, power and grace in practitioners. Pressure points, massage techniques, sound vibration and meditation are part of this women's health and empowerment program, along with beautiful, flowing movements that open up the body's energy channels. Daisy also includes tasty recipes from her Chinese kitchen which energize the kidneys, balance hormonal fluxes, and promotes immune support. Her teachings offer women a pathway to experiencing and realizing radiant health, inner peace, outer beauty and a positive outlook on life.
Radiant Lotus Qigong
is for Everyone

In her workshops, Daisy incorporates western concepts such as muscle testing and quantum healing techniques to reveal the power of the mind to influence physical changes and enhanced immune response. Practiced together with traditional styles of Qigong taught to her by her Chinese teachers such as:
Master Duan Zhi Liang (Wuji Hundun Qigong)
Master Wan Sujian (Bagua Xun Dao Gong and Medical Qigong)
Master Jiang Nan (Tibetan Qigong and Women's Qigong)
Master Zhao Shi Hua (Tiandi Qigong, Hard-style Qigong and Women's Qigong)
Master Zhi Gang Sha (Power Healing)
Madame Wang Yan (Medical Qigong)
and many others...
Daisy has been able to design Qigong programs that bring together the best of eastern and western healing modalities. She has taught in schools, at health and healing retreats, hospitals, hospice care facilities, corporate businesses, and seniors homes.
The Seeds of Radiant Lotus Qigong
Daisy credits her late husband, Eka Liem, with helping her discover Qigong. In an attempt to find a pro-active solution to reduce his pain from the side effects caused by chemotherapy treatment for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (a cancer of the blood), she met her first teacher, Dr. Fred Hui who taught her a simple Qigong technique that broke up the blocked energy around his abdomen. Eka was able to eliminate morphine and codeine from his pain medications after that. Although Eka died from complications associated with treatment, Daisy realized the potential of Qigong and saw it as a positive pathway for pain reduction, immune enhancement and possible health recovery.
Her first official teacher, Dr. Effie Chow from San Francisco, taught her the effect of positive attitude on mental, emotional and immune health, and she incorporates some of Dr. Chow's muscle testing techniques in her teachings to this day.

Private Health Readings
Daisy does personal Qigong energy readings which help clients to access optimum health. Her readings show clients how they can shift their eating and thinking habits to create a healthier body, mind and spirit. She recommends individualized food modifications, often discovering food allergies or intolerances that the client didn't know he/she had. Specific Qigong exercises are prescribed that the client can do at home, as well as high potency immune supplements which support each person's unique lifestyle. These personalized health readings empower the individual with vital information to affect long-term change for the highest health and well-being.
Boosting Immunity

"Qigong classes with Daisy encompass a physical, emotional and spiritual journey. Daisy is a gifted and intuitive teacher whose sensitivity to individual needs is remarkable. Her exceptional knowledge and gentle manner create a sanctuary for healing, for rejuvenation and for learning that feeds all parts of the being."
– Karen Rogers, Timberbark Homes
"I wanted to tell you how much I have learned from attending your classes. I try to do my cleansing exercises daily and other movements that I have learned from you and I am feeling so much better overall health wise. You are a life saver and I do not know what I would do without you in my life. Thanks for being you and reaching out to the world to bring peace, love and harmony to those who come into contact with you."
– Lyndall Radeczi, Michael's Cookies
"Please accept my pithy thoughts about attending your Qi gong experience (no offense, but "classes" does not do justice to the encompassing mind and body program you present). The diagnosis of a recurrence of the cancer, for which I had been undergoing treatment, caused a considerably amount of stress, not only to myself, but especially to my wife and soul mate Linda. She suggested that we learn from you the practice of Qi gong. Your calming presence, gentle and guiding manner, coupled with your dedication to enabling your students to master the channeling of the "Qi" to heal both physically and spiritually, have guided us on a path to improved well being. Mahalo for your strength and mentoring."
– Ned Chapman, engineer
"When I attended my first Qi Gong class, I had no idea what to expect. By the end of the session I knew that I had found the pathway that I had been looking for. I practice (play) qi gong twice daily, with exercises from the Beginning Qi Gong DVD in the morning and the Organ Cleansing at night in the dark before I go to sleep. The benefits of my practice have been immediate and very profound. I have lost 10 pounds, have stopped drinking alcohol and have stopped taking Paxil, which was my crutch for anxiety. More importantly, I now also have a way to "wake up" my body and mind when I feel stuck, sluggish or simply tired. I know that by incorporating this practice into my daily life, I have added quality to my life and probably years to it as well. I am forever grateful for this awakening."
– Elaine LaSota, wedding videographer
"Throughout the years, I have taken many different classes and therapies to lower my stress level. Although relatively new to Qigong, I was surprised at how quickly my mind and body experienced immediate results. Daisy, alone, has such a calmness that is quite contagious. She is also very patient and open. I wish I had found her years ago."
– Rebecca Lans, Kaua'i
"Daisy Lee is an awesome Qigong teacher, since taking her classes I have been helped with dealing with the emotions of grief and my overall health has benefited from practicing Qigong. I became interested in Qigong because I am a second degree Reiki practitioner and was curious to learn about the Qi. I enjoy the meditative movement of Qigong and now I practice everyday, both Reiki and Qigong. I am very grateful to have Daisy come and teach us and for the workshops with her guest teachers at Kahuna Valley."
– Lupita Poppler, environmentalist & artist
